Vaishno Devi Yatra
Vaishno Devi Shrine is amongst the most revered Hindu Shrines of India located in the Trikuta hills of Jammu & Kashmir state. The base station of yatra is Katra which is a small holy town in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Yatra all along from Katra to Bhawan is well managed by management of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine board which was constituted in year 1986.
Mata has been manifested in the form of Pindies in the cave which are the natural rock formations. There are no idols or statues inside the cave.
It is believed that only after the “Call of Mata”, one visit the holy Shrine. Once call is made, one is bound to visit the Darbar of Mata.
